Identity federation workshop at TIIME conference

Interested in the topic of identity federation? Your NGO could run its own identity server and federate with fairlogin and other NGOs. This way we can build an ecosystem of distributed identity servers, independent of facebook or twitter accounts. There is a specialised workshop on 5-6 February in Vienna - please register until 15 Dec for gratis entrance. Also the other parts of the conference are worth looking at and low priced.

The TIIME workshop 2018 will assemble people involved and interested in Internet trust, federated and enterprise Identity Management, providing the necessary further training and updates that engineers, tech leads, and managers need to succeed, from policies to essential technologies.
Part 1 is dedicated to workshops and tutorials with sessions for federation, provisioning and open source projects.

Monday Feb 5 13:00 - 17:30 Use Cases, Development of Federations, State of the Art
Tuesday Feb 6 9:00-12:00 Solutions on a technical and organisational level

Part 2 is using the open space conference format to focus on the actual topics of the audience. Meeting talented people from different backgrounds and shared interest creates an intense and rewarding work setting.
Dedicated note takers and session-specific mailing lists this will facilitate interaction between the groups and facility light-weight ad-hoc groups to save results and enthusiasm for the following days and weeks, and to produce sustainable output.

As usual, participants will drive the specific contents to address specific questions and challenges of technology, open standards, trust frameworks, privacy, operation, usability, business aspects and public policy.
